2026 Christmas Novena – CNBB Editions

Peace Exists, It Desires to Dwell Within Us

Prepare your heart and your family to welcome the Baby Jesus this Christmas! 🌟🙏

The 2026 Christmas Novena, published by Edições CNBB (National Conference of Bishops of Brazil), is a special invitation to live the true meaning of Christmas: to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and open our hearts to the love of God.

With the theme “Peace exists, it desires to dwell within us”, this edition leads families, communities, and prayer groups on a journey of faith, hope, and fraternity, spiritually preparing our homes for the arrival of the Savior.

Through nine meetings of prayer, reflection, and sharing, the novena invites us to strengthen family bonds, cultivate peace, renew our trust in God, and rediscover the beauty of celebrating Christmas with Jesus at the center of everything.

✨ What makes this novena special?

• Nine meetings for Christmas preparation: moments of prayer, reflection, and spirituality to welcome the birth of Jesus.

• Inspiring theme for 2026: “Peace exists, it desires to dwell within us,” a call to allow the peace of Christ to transform our hearts and our families.

• Material from Edições CNBB: prepared to support the living out of the Catholic faith as a family and in the community.

• Special insert for children: playful and catechetical content that helps little ones participate in the preparation for Christmas.

• Ideal for community gatherings: perfect for families, prayer groups, pastoral groups, parishes, and communities.

• Light and practical format: easy to carry, handle, and follow during the meetings.

❤️ Christmas is time to open the doors for Jesus!

Amidst the preparations, celebrations, and gifts, the Christmas Novena reminds us that the greatest gift has already been given to us: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who came to dwell among us.

Each meeting is an opportunity to gather the family, pray together, share the Word of God, and allow the true spirit of Christmas to transform our home into a place of welcome, love, and peace.

With the participation of children, this experience becomes even more beautiful, passing on to the new generations the joy of waiting for and celebrating the birth of the Savior.

May the peace of Christ find a home in our hearts this Christmas, and may each home be transformed into a little Bethlehem, ready to receive the Baby Jesus!
